Edge data platform for the factory floor

Every machine on your line, live, on a PC you own

Kustlyne connects to the machines you already have, keeps their history on an industrial PC in your own building, and runs dashboards and cloud connectors on top. No cloud subscription, no software team, and nothing on the line to change.

The Line Dashboard app on a Kustlyne machine: cycle time and motor torque
for two robots, a fifteen-minute trend, and every live value on the line
with its quality and its age.

Line Dashboard, running on a real Kustlyne machine

What you get

Answers from your own line, not another integration project

Start with one of these. Each is an app from the Kustlyne store, installed onto the machine and running on your own data.

Line performance

Line Dashboard puts the values that matter for one line on a screen at the line: live, with a 15-minute trend, and every value marked with its quality and its age. Available now.

Plant to cloud

Cloud Forwarder sends the values you choose to an HTTPS address you name — your own cloud, a data lake, an analytics tool — and keeps them while that address cannot be reached. Available now.

Energy per product

Energy cost per hour and per line, from your energy price and what each line actually uses. In development.

Browse 2 apps, each one read by a person and signed before it is listed.

How it works

From a USB stick to live values, without a software team

Three steps, all on your own network. An OT engineer can do every one of them, and nobody needs a command line.

Install it on an industrial PC

From a USB stick, with no internet needed. The installer asks a handful of questions about your network and sets up the rest.

Add your machines

OPC-UA, Modbus TCP, MQTT and EtherNet/IP, plus line-based serial instruments: reached through a serial device server or, on Kustlyne 1.6.3 and newer, wired straight into the machine when the port is set during installation. All read from the machines as they already are. Nothing on the line has to change. Each machine is added once, and every value it measures gets one name that every app can read.

Install apps from the store

A person reads every app before it is signed and listed, and the machine checks that signature again before it runs anything. Each listing says what the app may read, write and reach.

What we believe

A factory’s data belongs to the factory: on its own equipment, read by its own people, with no cloud subscription between a question and its answer.

Why Kustlyne

It sits beside your line, and it answers to you

On a rail or in a cabinet, on your own network. Your data goes into the machine and stays there; the only thing that ever comes in is an app the machine has checked itself.

Ownership

Your data stays in your plant

Everything runs on your own PC. The only call out is a licence check, and if we cannot be reached the line keeps running on the licence it already holds.

Security

Security you can show an auditor

Signed releases and signed apps, a person approving every app before it is signed, and security fixes for 12 months on every release.

History

It remembers what happened

A historian on the machine keeps every value as it arrived for 14 days, and the values you choose for years, in three tiers so the disk lasts.

Start with a pilot

One line, about 60 days, one fixed fee

A system integrator installs Kustlyne on one of your lines. You see its values live as soon as it is connected, and after about two months you judge it on your own data, not on our slides.

We agree the goal first

With you and your integrator, before anything is installed: which line, which values, and what counts as success.

Your integrator installs it

On an industrial PC beside the line. Your machines are read as they are, and nothing on the line changes.

You decide on your own numbers

After about 60 days, roll it out to more lines or stop there. Either way, the data it collected stays yours.

What it takes

Try it free for 90 days

The platform starts its evaluation by itself: no account, no card and no call with us. When you keep it, it is one licence per industrial PC, per year.
